If you search for a Notion period tracker today, you’ll see dozens of options. But to understand where Period Tracker 3.0 comes from, we have to go back to 2019.
Back then, I was a Computer Science student who had just discovered the magic of Notion. I wanted a way to centralize my health, but every period tracker I found was a simple manual calendar. None of them had the "brain" I was looking for, automated tracking, predictive math, and database logic. I even saw women on chat sites and forums asking if such a thing even existed.
Designing that first automated cycle tracker was a passion project for me. It combined my love for software logic with a real-world need for better health tools. When I finally released it under Nellie Notions, it became my first-ever template sale. I never could have imagined that today, I’d be celebrating over 50,000 sales across my various templates.
For nearly two years, that original build stood as the primary automated tracker in the space. However, as Notion grew, I started seeing my exact databases and formulas appearing in other people's shops.
As a Computer Science graduate, I can recognize "code signatures", even in Notion formulas. While it’s flattering to see my architecture become the industry standard, it was a bit surprising to see my original work sold by others without credit. I truly believe there is room for everyone to succeed, and I’m always happy to see new creators entering the space, but as the person who engineered the original logic, I felt a responsibility to my users to keep pushing the boundaries.
My response has always been to out-innovate.
So, I decided to release my original and 2.0 versions for free. I wanted to make sure everyone had access to high-quality tracking without needing to buy a knock-off. Then, I went back to the drawing board to build something even more advanced, something so deeply engineered that it truly stands in a category of its own.
Welcome to the era of Version 3.0.
Period Tracker 3.0 isn't just a template; it’s a living "Cycle Operating System." It uses complex logic to map your energy, mood, and biological phases in a way that provides genuine, actionable insight.
I’ve priced this master version at just $10 because I want the gold standard of menstrual health to be accessible to every woman. And because I’m committed to this being the last tracker you ever need, it comes with a built-in feedback form and a dynamic changelog. I am constantly updating and improving this system based on your real-life needs.
I am so proud to have paved the way for cycle syncing in the Notion community. If you want a pretty calendar, there are many lovely ones out there. But if you want a sophisticated health engine from a creator trusted by 50,000+ users, I’m so glad you’re here.
Welcome to the original. Welcome to Period Tracker 3.0 by Nellie Notions.
